Ooh la la!!!!

I finally got the chance to do a little shopping today, I went to a book/magazine store called "Reflexion", where I usually purchase a few copies of one of my favourite French beading magazines, "Perles & Creations", but they were all out. Bummer!

So, I started walking around, and Tadaaa! I found this wonderfull little book called "Mille et Une idees de bijoux et perles". (click on the photo for a link on more info - but it's in French) It almost looks like a little tome, LOL! It's jam packed with "A Thousand And One" ideas on how to make your very own beaded jewellery, and for $24.95 (Can.), it's well worth it! Not only is this book handy for learning a few new techniques (I'm positive that a few have elluded me yet... :D), but it will also be a helpful tool for when I start teaching at the French College in January (I really need to 'bone up' on the french 'bead lingo', LOL!!!)

Now if you'll excuse me, I've got a total of 621 pages to go through.... ;)

LOL! I'm going to take pics right now!

The order is basically for 2 identical bracelets (something like the white pearl one you sent). It's for my Great Aunt. She wants them for her 2 twin Great Great Nieces. (I think I have that right? LOL!)

Ok...gotta go take pics!

I'll get on those as soon as I get home, and I'll send them off!

Should I use a specific amount of pearls (say, for their ages?) or will I have complete artistic license?

That's how I should have learned French in college, read bead books! I didn't like my teacher for levels 2 and 3 so I hope you are good to your students = ) Au revoir...
