A Study in White
Well, I've tried 'freeform' beading before, and for some reason, couldn't quite wrap my brain around it. The very first time I attempted Freeform Peyote, I got a splitting headache, I kid you not. I've yet to finish that project, but yesterday, I endeavoured a brand new one. I was sitting here, at my mother's dining room table, and wanted to make something 'different', and hey, different it is.
The funny thing about this piece, is that it doesn't sit 'straight' when I lay it flat. Actually, it doesn't lay flat at all, it sort of curls... To all of you out there who've done freeform before, is that supposed to happen?
This piece was constructed with size 11/0, 8/0, and 6/0 beads in a mixture of 'whites', with some freshwater pearls, glass rondelles, and some pressed glass 'shells' mixted in. I'm liking the sterling silver toggle, I find it suits the piece.

I'm really pleased that my friend (Camille here) liked it so much. Well, actually, I think she loved it. ;)
Funny, it was really difficult for me to complete it...
